Introduction

Unit Summary
           NCERT and SCERT are the councils working in field of education. These two councils from the curriculum for the different standards. While forming the book the educationist think about many things. The books for different standards are different according to states & districts. The TBL project practical is included in B.Ed syllabus.
 I have chosen the unit which is based on POLLUTION. The problem of ever increasing pollution is a hurdle in progress of India. In my project I have tried to explain the causes and measures to be taken to control pollution. So I choose this topic as my project so as to create awareness among the students.
      With the help of this project all the students can watch the actually see different reasons and the measures to be taken for solving this problem.

Assessment Summary

Before project start teacher will organize informal discussion to check the understanding of students about difficulties in subject, there will be the easy questioning to check the skill level of students, teachers will form check list. Teacher will give article to students to know the theme and how pollution effect on the life of people To make a presentation students presentation rubric will be prepared. Every student’s contribution is essential so observation schedule will be developing. At the end of the project quiz competition, objectives test and oral viva of the presenter will be developed.

Instructional Procedures

Forty students are involved in this project they will work in different groups, Four groups will be created 
*       G1:- will collect information about topic
*       G2:- will collect information about solutions.
*       G3:- will take the interview of expert in field of social worker.
*       G4:- will find out various schemes of the government.
Technological assistance. Four group leaders will be selected, they will be creative students 
All groups will perform and arrange different activities for the selected target group viz. orientation, I
demonstration, interview , documentary  


Accommodations for Differentiated Instruction


Special Needs Students

There are some below average students extra guidance by the group leader, and if required by the teacher, will be given, students will learn according to their learning styles, learning speed, an artist student will be given suitable activity to him.

Nonnative Speakers

In the groups some Hindi, Gujarati language speaking students are there so at the theme of orientation of the masses they will orient the people of these language.

PBL Project Based Learning

Introduction 

       Project based learning is considered to be an attentive to paper base data memorization and teacher classroom, project based learning site numinous benefit to the implementation of its stratagems  is the classroom including a greater depth of understanding concepts broader knowledge base improved communicating and index general scale skills, enhanced leadership skills increased creativity and improved cording skills. The basis of PBL lies in the authority as real life application of the research.
      Project basis learning also gives student the opportunity to explore problem and challenges that have real world application increasing the possibility of long term retention of skills and concepts.
       PBL when being used in the 21st century, students are expected to use technology in meaning ful ways to help them investigation collaborate, analyse, synthesizer and present their learning

    Definition of project based learning:-
        Project based learning is a teaching method in which students gave knowledge and skill by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an engaging and complex question problem or challenge.
      Project base learning is dynamic classroom approach in which student activity explorer real world  problem and challenge and require a deeps knowledge.
      Project based learning is student centered teaching method that allow students to investigate real world problem.

Characteristics of PBL

      Project based learning has several distinct characteristics which may be identified  and utilized  in designing the curriculum these are.

1. Use of real world problem:-
    Problems are relevant and contractual it is in the process of struggling with actual problems the students learn content and critical thinking skills.

2. Reliance on problems or drive the curriculum.
     The problems do not test skills they assist in development of the skills themselves.

3. The problems are truly all structured:

      There is not meant to be one solution and as new information is gathered in a reiterative process, perceptions of the problem and thus the solution changes in this structured.

4. Project Based learning is learner centered.
    Learner are progressively given more responsibility for their education and become increasingly independent of the teacher for their education

5. PBL produces indecent lifelong learner

     Students continue to learn own in life and their carriers.

Steps for PBL Techology
1. Introduction :-
    To motivational the student the project is introduced to the student teacher anchors the activity. It can be power point presentation in class or a website can be used.

2. Task :-
      To describe the activities and produces different tasks can be arranged for guiding questions or driving questions and checklist.

3. Process:-
    To complete the task students investigation, decide strategies for the process and design the process of creation of artificial.

4. Resource Identification:-
     The subject matter experts hypertext websites are identified for the teaching learning process on other words identification of the subjects content which has been given by the teacher to the student.

Student voice and voice
     Student makes some decisions about the projects including how they work and what they create

Limitations of PBL
1. For students
a. Prior learning experiences do not prepare students well for PBL.
b. PBL require more time and take away study time from other subject.
c. It creats some aniciety because learning is messiee.
d. Sometimes group dynamics issues compromise PBL affectiveness.
e. Less content knowledge may be learned.
